Mk 3 Hatching/ Rearing Trough
This unit is designed to provide a first class environment for eggs and fry, up to first feeding stage. It is based on the proven Californian principle with the water upwelling through the baskets.
Egg trays are supplied as part of the unit, which allow the alevins to drop into bottom section, and make for easy removal of dead eggs and shells.
The Hexhatch
The hexhatch was designed to make more efficient use of hatchery space by using the fry tanks to hatch into, rather than separate troughs.
When installed around a central standpipe outlet, the unit revolves slowly, and combined with the upwelling effect of the outlet, maintains sufficient water movement for healthy hatching.
Rearing Tanks
We offer a large range of moulded rearing tanks all of which incorporate our standard design features, ie, large radius corner from wall to floor, rounded top edge detail and interior high gloss finish.
The smaller tanks are all one piece mouldings, and can be supplied at extra cost, with integral supports for installation on a flat concrete floor.
Sectional tanks start a 3m dia, and are designed to be easy to assemble, as well as reducing transport costs. All of these tanks can be manufactured to any depth required by the
customer, and can be made self supporting.
